Styling

The alternate header provides additional color settings that affect the utility menu’s account and cart links.

For example, you can display a light colored utility menu on pages with full-bleed hero images, while showing the default color theme on standard pages.

To use the alternate header on selective pages or posts, the class ‘ec-alt-header’ needs to be added to the document body on a page or post in WordPress. This can be added via the plugin ‘Custom Body Class‘.

Developers can use the WordPress filter ‘body_class‘ to add a class to a page or post.
